Hi,
New to the forum obviously. After being an idiot and hydrolocking my car back in January I started looking in to ways to prevent it from happening again. First thing I found was a snorke mod but have recently decided that I won't be stupid enough to attempt a puddle again, so I have came here looking for more from my car.

Nope it wasn't unlucky it was stupidity at its finest. Who tries to take a car like that through a massive puddle that only Jeeps could pass?thedupleman wrote:Unlucky. Welcome aboard

Re: Gotta say 'Hello'
The Siii intake starts down by the wheel arch almost like a CAI does. It was some depth of puddle. Water came inside through the passenger door.Mr Tuscan wrote:CAI fitted or sucked up through the exhaust ?

Re: Gotta say 'Hello'
Yes its the similar as the gen 3's, I was going to say that would not do it though as the intake hole is not as low as a CAI but then i read your water in door comment.

Re: Gotta say 'Hello'
I think I will go get CAI though. SRI is supposed to be cheaper and give a snappier response but all the ones I am finding are far more expensive than the K&N CAI which is only about £115.
