Hello People, could anyone please help. I've got a 58 TS111 and for some reason it will not start on the first turn of the key. I turn it off and ususally it fires up on the second turn, odd times it could take 3-4 goes. Someone told me it was the crank sensor so I changed that but didn't make any differance. The engine spins fine, battries o.k. also put new plugs in, but now I'm stumped. Just to add once running it's fine never cut's out. Thank's. Steff.

Have you tried to remove and clean the grounding points? I had some problems with mine due to this. Its free and easy to do so worth a shot. Also clean the battery terminals and the end of the cable that attaches to the battery negative and positive.
