First timer...

Hi all,
First time on this forum as I have just bought myself a 2.0 SE Gen 3.5 in red. She's ace but a little loud as she's got a big bore twin stainless steel exhaust and an upgraded air intake.
What are members thoughts, keep it like it is or take it back to stock?
Also can anyone give me a ballpark figure for the price of a new clutch and the fitting...

Look forward to your response.. :greetings-waveyellow: :greetings-waveyellow:

exhaust is entirely up to you, if it's not too loud for you then keep it, if it is a bit loud then go for something inbetween.

As to clutch... £250-£450 depending where you live and who does it

Welcome, buddy - and welcome to the world of owning a Coupe! I've got my 2.0 Gen 3.5 straight-piped and I love it, as I feel the stock exhaust doesn't give the car justice... however, loud exhausts aren't for everybody! As for the clutch, mine's automatic (sigh - I know that was a bad move) - so I wouldn't know, sorry!

You would like to hope, Kate was quoted £500 plus by four different garages so shop around to get the price down.

London area expect it to be at the upper end of that bracket

Thanks everyone for the welcome...I'm hoping my mechanic can doo me a good deal on the clutch and I'm gonna reserve judgement on the exhaust until the spring when I use it more....

Welcome, the exhaust note is a very personal thing. If it's too loud for you keep it as I'm guessing it's stainless steel and add an extra silencer.

Wow that's mega cheap, was that just the clutch or did it include the slave cylinder too?
