There is a whole range of things this could be.

Get the car up on a jack and well supported with axle stands or blocks of wood or something.

Wiggle the tyre from top to bottom and then from left to right to see if there is any play in anything.

Alternatively get a long bar and find all the rubber bits behind the wheel, wedge the bar in and under over things and give each individual rubber a wiggle to see if you have excess play in anything.

This would be my first starting block to diagnose this issue

As above.

Could be strut top mounts, any of the wishbone bushes, steering arm ball joints, drop links, wheel bearing etc..
Hopefully you will find the problem by jacking the wheel up.

Top strut mounts. To test, if you hold your hand on top of the mount under the bonnet and get someone to bounce the car up and down you should feel a knock. Had this on mine about a month back, and this is how I diagnosed it
