Hi, need some pionters on what to look for when buying a S3 2009 2ltr, I'm a bit in the dark about this so any hints would be appreciated. Cheers. :bow-yellow: :greetings-waveyellow:

Welcome Ben.

Rust on the back wheel arches to start with, have a feel around the lip.
Perhaps check under the boot carpet at the sides also.

It pretty much the same as any second hand car from this era, all the usual checks.

Biting point will feel high on the coupe but it should not slip so check for that.

Be sure all the callipers are running freely also, the coupe (again like old cars) are rife with them seizing up and then causing disc warp.

The 2.0 is pretty bomb proof engine wise, expect it to be a little tappy as these engines can tap a little on start on but it should dissipate after a minute or two
