Hi everyone.
We have had a 2009 S111 since new and up till now have not had any real issues. We still love the car and it has only done 46,000 miles, however in the last few days several issues have started which are probably related. Now wanting to search the forum to try and sort them out as we don’t really want to get rid of the car.

Welcome to the forum. Hope you get your issues sorted soon, Why don't you post up the issues in the relevant sub section and see what other people can help with?

Hi. I see you have posted in JRP's thread, but I don't think he has been back since the last post in it. You could try sending him a message directly, using the "contact" link at the bottom of his profile. He should get an email alerting him to it.

Your problem sounds like it could be the Body Control Module, the big black box under the dash that the fuses are all plugged into. Possibly water damage. Has the car ever had a windscreen replacement? Could be it hasn't been sealed properly, and water has run into it.

Bad news is a new one from a dealer is hundreds of pounds, more than the car is now worth, good news is you can get one from a breaker BUT it needs to be done properly. I'm sure Shel, our BCM guru, will be along shortly.

Close Foxfeeder but a new BCM is about a grand and then needs programming :o :o :o

Much easier way and cheaper is to get a set (BCM, ECU, keys and ignition barrel and the transponder ring and swap the lot over

Thanks for the updates.
I will Message JRP to see how he got on, hopefully he still checks the forum.
Shel has already answered my question on JRP’s thread and thinks it will be the BCM.
Luckily we don’t need to use the car due to lockdown so when the weather is slightly better I will check to see the state of the BCM.
We have never had the windscreen replaced and unaware of any leaks apart from the common boot issue.
