Hi to everyone!

Just joined,

After owning a red gen1 auto 13 years ago,(no one called them gen1 then) i have just become the owner of silver man gen2 2001 with 9956 miles 1 owner and looks like it has been stuck in a time warp looks and smells like a new one, is this the lowest mileage one anywhere? would welcome any advice on this, (paid less than the asking price but think it was worth it for what is virtually a new car) ps anyone on here over 50??? Regards all Mal.

Hi welcome aboard.

Reckon thats definitely the lowest mileage Gen 2 around these days. Previous owner must have enjoyed walking too much

Hi DT

Vintage like me, its all relevent, and i feel 40 again ha, Actually i live Near Sittingbourne in Kent, not that far away.

Do you think anyone would want/need CNC machined logos/badges in aliminium or any machinable material, Coupe, SE S111 etc as i have CNC facilties here, both CAD and CAM, i will be doing some nice stuff for the Gen2 but strictly as original but polished ali not OE plastic.

Regards,

Old Fella!

Rik,

You may have something there, the gate would remove any play as the gear lever shaft would be guided precisely in its travel, i will design one and test it out, i will post some photos if it works well.

Rik,

Will be in Alloy and CNCd so no problem with accuracy, lets see how it goes,
