eBay bidding and this site

eBay offers a wealth of good deals and cheap parts...but it also offers some of the worst

eBay bidding and this site

Post by thedupleman »

Please do not ask members NOT to bid on items on eBay.

This practice is rife on the other forum, and in my opinion is WRONG. People sell things on eBay to get the best price and this practice may mean members fail to get a good price for their items.

please do not ask members not to bid on items.any member found doing this will have their post removed, and may lose your right to sell items on this site.

This decision was taken with everyone's interest in mind

Yes I have put my oar in.Adamski has had the brunt of it,he's a nice guy,so it's not his fault. But I hate the practice and believe it shows the club up very badly in terms of protecting members and policy making

There is a lack of admin action on that site like I don't believe at the minute..it's truly shocking.lidl seems to have lost all interest the mods don't go on and it's just generally kind of chaotic.I'm surprised.its like everybody's just kind of given up.only scout seems to still really be on and he's not on much these days,I'd say the place looks a bit unruly

Have to agree daz, not been on much myself of late, more to do with being busy than anything else but things don't seem right, even little things like answering PM's seem to be getting left.

Good it does generally seem to be a practice very few people care for. As I put on the other site the Adamski post caused me to put this but I don't blame him he's only doing what's par for course I suppose

which is exactly why I leapt on the post by nhmusicman.....wasn't a personal thing to him, as you say, just seems the norm on there so people just do as others are doing

I agree totally Dupe I have seen this on many occasion and thought exactly what you have said, plus if that was my item I was selling I wouldn't be very happy at all, and equally on the other side if I wanted the item why shouldn't I bid bargains on Ebay are becoming very few and far between these days so if peeps want that item. they have every right to bid good one Sir Dupe :handgestures-thumbupleft:
